Delivery & Dispatch

How parcels are packed, booked and tracked.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

In short. We send all over India through established transport companies, chosen to suit your route. Transport is at actual cost with nothing added. You choose collection or door delivery, and insurance is offered on every parcel.

1. Where we deliver

We supply kitchens and trade buyers across India. Parcels are sent through established surface transport networks, which between them cover most of the country. Send us your pin code and we confirm service, cost and number of days before you order.

2. Choosing the transport company

We are not tied to any one transport company. Each parcel is booked with whoever suits that route, weight and destination. We do not run our own trucks, so we have no reason to push you through anyone in particular.

If you prefer a particular transport company or have your own arrangement, tell us and we book accordingly.

3. Collection or door delivery

Where both are available on your route, we quote both:

  • Collection — booked to the transport office nearest you and held for you to collect. Lower cost per kilo, and the saving grows with the size of the order.
  • Door delivery — brought to your address. Costs more per kilo, but saves the trip.

Where a parcel is held for collection, please collect it within the free period the transport company allows. Demurrage or storage charges after that are payable by you.

4. Transport charges

Transport is charged at actual cost and shown as a separate line on your bill. We add no margin.

Transport is payable by you. Where to-pay booking is available you may pay the transport company directly on delivery; any extra handling charge they levy for that is payable by you. We quote both where available.

5. Insurance

Goods travel at your risk from the time they are handed to transport. We therefore offer insurance on every parcel, arranged at actual cost and shown separately so you can accept or decline it. We recommend it on every outstation parcel.

6. Packing

Parcels are packed for the journey they are making. Carton sizes are chosen to avoid volume-weight charges wherever possible, fragile items are boxed and marked, and every parcel is weighed and photographed before booking.

7. Timelines

Confirmed and paid orders are normally despatched within 2 working days, subject to stock. Time in transit then depends on the route and transport company, and is confirmed with your quote.

Delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by natural events, floods, strikes, civil disturbance, road closures, checks or transport disruption — but we will keep you informed and work to sort out any major delay.

8. Tracking

The LR number is shared with you on the day the parcel is booked, along with batch and expiry details and the pre-despatch record. Message us any time with your bill number for an update.

9. Documents

Every parcel travels with a GST bill. Where an e-way bill is needed for an interstate movement, we generate it. If your parcel needs any particular document at the destination, tell us before despatch.

10. On receipt

Check the parcel before signing. Any shortage or damage must be written on the transport company's LR at that moment and reported to us within 48 hours. See Returns & Claims for what happens next.
